I still remember the first time that I heard the term “conference call” and I thought it sounded important and interesting. My sister had just started her new job at a large international communications company and used to talk to me about her work sometimes. When you are holding a conference call, there are a few things to keep in mind. In the first place you need to make sure that the equipment which you are using is suitable for the call. Also the bandwidth has to be sufficient in order to achieve a good quality cheap international calls. The person who is hosting the call needs to ensure that the meeting is well co-ordinated and sticks to the schedule which has been set. If there is no moderator, then the call will not be successful as the parties will not know when to talk, when to listen and how long they need to talk for.
